Courtesy of Bapak and Kak anisa, we all had dinner at Yod Siam, a siamese restaurant opposite Sainsbury Beeston. This is another u become doc, u give a treat.. sort of thing.. and only when u already earning money that this happen, otherwise, i'll have to throw one for them too.. then, we went to our port (bapak's house) for dessert. Shahrin brought Rizman's supervised orio cheesecake and we bought a chocolate pie or sth from sainsbury.. had few rounds of NFS Underground 1 and fighting2 game.. had marvellous time of course.. this is of course one of the golden moments in Nottingham. Nothing to do and just having a lot of fun are definitely my golden moments!!

Venice- a place to be! just for a day!
on one not-so-fine day, i went to venice with my housemate.. a place i wished to visit before i leave UK for good. Alhamdulillah, my wish came true. visited for a day, which i thought was more than enough. as long as i could physically be there to see it with my own eyes. the san marco square was amazing. went there early in the morning there was hardly anyone. we had san marco to ourselves. didn't get myself on the gondolas, too expensive. it is an amazing city, i must admit though i would not like to live there all my life. the water, the houses, the alleys.... i'd be mad if i'd stayed longer. it rained most of the day, but we were prepared, umbrellas were our weapon. overall, really grand to be there. No regrets!!

Nottingham for the last 2 years
isn't it beautiful?? anywhere it's beauty. the weather's nice, the autumn, the spring... they are my favourite seasons. the ducks, deers, squirrels... i'll miss them terribly. miss the walk, jog, the uni lake, wollaton park, waiting at the bus stop of woodside road. it's ever so peaceful. distance makes the heart grew fonder. i've been cherishing my last few months in nottingham. perhaps so that i won't regret when i go back that i didn't do or experience a lot of stuff. i love nature, so nottingham is really the place for me. Alhamdulillah. thank you Allah for throwing me here, and Marsden for accepting me during interview!

Peak District - Tour of the Easter
The night before, me and sha have just decided to go to peak district. The next day off we went with Hui Yeng (will later known as Sea Lion) and Yin (budak kecik). Matlock -> Bakewell -> Monyash -> Edale -> Manchester -> Hayfield -> Glossop --> Langsett--> Derwent Resvr -> Eyam -> Stanton in Peak -> Home. What a trip !!! now, it's 3am cos i slept from 1pm today till 1am just now.. really tired!! Last night we slept in the car cos we didn't arrange for any accommodation. Didn't want to waste our money that we just gonna spend on bed and 6 hours. But it was a real great trip.. we covered most of Peak district in less than 24 hrs. We climbed one of the donno what should i described it.. hill? but my legs are really aching now from climbing... i think it's fair to say it's a mountain that we climbed. by the time we got down, it was already dark.. We went to Manchester for indian Balti restaurant. whoaa... couldn't finish the big Nan.. Slept in the car under the moonlight. well tido2 ayam.. for about 2 hours. then just after Subuh, we continued the journey to Glossop. Aiih.. malas nyer nak tulis. i'm still sleepy actually.. mebe i should go back to bed..

White Snottingham
Alas, after waiting for 4 whole years, (and can u imagine living in the -2 degree celsius without snow that settles for 4 whole years!!), it snowed and it settled in Nottingham, or Snottingham (that was its name in the past, luckily they dropped the 'S'). It wasn't as much as it did in the year 2001 but it was still worth the while going out and snapped some photos. i actually went with Kak aniza to Wollaton park the day before and threw some snowballs at each other and took some pics with the deers. to cut story short, those pics have rest in peace, only Allah knows how much we missed those pics. isk.. well, these are not too bad either. so i am still grateful that Allah gave me the opportunity to see snow again before i leave this beautiful city for good.

Goosefair
This must be the third time i stepped into goosefair. i went to the castle and still the photos of goosefair some centuries ago did not show any goose. it has been carousel and the Ferris wheel, but this year they have definitely multiplied in size and numbers. man it was huge u could get lost in ther! we hopped into the mouse roller coaster and still scream like nobody's business. we spent so much on playing stuff that you would never win anything anyway.but sha won a teddybear, for playing basketball. get 5 balls shoot 3 and she got it. carrying it back was the nitemare.. it's big u can't see the front and it's heavy so we took turn.

i am easily intrigued by all these kinda stuff i.e. living museum. this was my second time and i'm sure it's the same people doing it every year. they took it very seriously so we took it seriously too, well in a fun way i mean. he assumed he's the king so we treated him like one.
